The bathroom ceiling

Quantities of paint necessary:
Paint Café-approved latex paint, Velvet finish:
	Dijon, B119-42:		4 litres
ILLUSIO products:
	Untinted Suede Dunes 8562-22:		4 litres*
	Pearlescent Artifice, Deep Gold 8564-76:		1 litre**
	* quantity required for ceiling, walls and mouldings ** quantity required for ceiling and mouldings

Required materials

• Flexible spatula, 10 cm wide
  
  
• Bucket of water
  
  
• Masking tape
  
  
• Round paintbrush, 5 cm in diameter
  
  
• Roller, handle, paint tray

Execution steps: ceiling

• Using the roller, apply one coat of Dijon (B119-42).
  
  
• Using a 10 cm wide flexible plastic or metal spatula, apply the untinted Suede, at random, on the ceiling, holding the spatula flat. It is important to leave small areas uncovered by the Suede so as to let the base colours subtly show through.
  
  
• Using the 5 cm round paintbrush, apply the Artifice Pearlescent Deep Gold in a crossover motion, over the entire surface.
